I think this translate well to other occupations or personal abilities. I enjoy being in an environment where I feel inspired, rather then situations where I have figured out the answer before anyone else. Worse, when you explain it to them and they still don't get it. The next day they treat you like you don't know anything because they are superior. Right. I miss my job in Vancouver.

I hate condescension...people who are patronizing and treat others like idiots so that they can feel superior make me angry...I feel your pain :)
